Music Video: BriskInTheHouse “JULY”

BKR$CLB’s BriskInTheHouse is back with the super laid back first single off his new mixtape, Rasul El: In The Mist For The Most.On “July,” Brisks vocals glide effortlessly over the German producer Wun Two’s jazzy instrumental.

Directed by MWorks, the visual was filmed at Toronto visual artist Malcolm Yarde’s Kensington Market studio. “The video depicts a day in the life with friends and loved ones,” says BriskInTheHouse. “It’s a view of how we be hanging out, and building on ideas.”

Toronto-based jazz trio BadBadNotGood, who released a new collaborative album with Wu-Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah called Sour Soul(out Feb. 24th via eOne Music Canada), which follows their third album III (May 6th, 2014) via Innovative Leisure/Pirates Blend, which was a longlisted nominee for the 2014 Polaris Music Prize, performed at The Great Hall in Toronto last night with Wu-Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah, who is expected to release his eighth album, Twelve Reasons to Die II, in March, and Toronto-based rapper Raz Fresco.
